What do I need to get started?
Just your newsletter URL or your podcast name. SponsorHawk works out
your topic, audience and category, finds the companies already sponsoring
shows like yours, and finds the exact people to pitch. Building the
sponsor list is free, and adding a card grants you $10 in starter credits
without charging anything, so your first pitches cost you nothing.
How much does it cost?
About $0.03 per email actually sent, and that is the entire model: no
subscription, no per-seat fee, no charge for finding sponsors. You start
with $10 in free credits, which covers your first 300+ emails. After that
sending keeps going and we bill the card on file for what you actually
sent, in small increments. You set a daily budget that caps spend, and
spending stops the moment you pause your campaigns.
Whose mailboxes send the pitches? Is my domain at risk?
Pitches go out from our pool of pre-warmed inboxes, never from your own
mailbox or domain, so your reputation is never on the line. Each sponsor
is paired with one inbox that carries the whole conversation, and replies
land back inside SponsorHawk.
How do you keep pitches out of spam?
Every mailbox in the pool is warmed up and authenticated with SPF,
DKIM and DMARC, with daily sending caps and gradual volume ramps. Bounce
and complaint rates are watched across the whole pool, and any inbox that
starts to degrade is pulled out automatically, so one campaign can never
drag down the rest.
What happens when a sponsor replies?
SponsorHawk replies inside your review window, answers from the facts
in your media kit, and can send your sponsor deck and rate card
automatically. Once a sponsor asks for pricing or a call, it hands the
thread to you to close.
How do you decide who to pitch?
Every sponsor on your list has either already sponsored a show like
yours or has a measured sponsorship budget. We track 30,132 sponsorships
across 13,337 companies: 8,917 newsletter placements, 2,945 podcast
placements and 18,270 event sponsorships worth $182.9M. For 4,159 of
those placements we also have the ad copy that ran, so we can see what a
sponsor already pays to say to an audience like yours.
How much control do I have over what goes out?
You see the sponsor list before anything sends, and you can preview
the pitch against real sponsors before launch. You steer targeting and
tone by chatting with the agent in plain language, and one click pauses
everything at any time.
Can I bring my own sponsor list?
Yes. Upload a CSV and the same verification engine runs on it, the one
SponsorHawk uses for the sponsors it finds itself, then writes and sends
to them on the normal schedule. Or let SponsorHawk build the list for
you.
Is cold outreach to sponsors even allowed?
SponsorHawk sends B2B outreach to business addresses with an honest
sender identity, and opt-outs are honored immediately. You control the
geography of every campaign, so markets with stricter rules can be
excluded entirely.
